Product Owner

About the role

Having experienced phenomenal success and growth in our first two years, we are looking for a Product Owner to join us on a path of continued expansion.

We are looking for someone who has extensive experience of working in a Product Owner role and has a track record of creating a collaborative environment in which internal stakeholders and customers can identify value and prioritise business needs.

Experience & Responsibilities

  • Maintain a vision for the product and communicate that vision to the Scrum team.
  • Work with stakeholders to decompose Epics into Features and therefore help develop the product roadmap.
  • Manage the backlog. Refining and prioritising both Features and User Stories.
  • Create and refine with the customer and Scrum team user story acceptance criteria.
  • Set clear Sprint goals.
  • Follow the progress of the work during a Sprint and assist with any queries from the development team.
  • Capture new enhancements from the business on a continuous basis.
  • Be the customer voice during development and sign-off against acceptance criteria.
  • Provide reporting to key team members and senior stakeholders across all of the Commercial backlog and project deliverables.
  • Be available, committed and actively engaged with the Scrum team to ensure the best product possible is built.
  • Have a solid understanding of users, the marketplace, the competition and of future trends for the domain.
  • Extensive experience in a product owner role
  • Track record of creating a collaborative environment in which internal stakeholders and customers can identify value and prioritise business needs.
  • Thorough understanding of Agile development environments and methodologies.
  • A proven ability to balance and champion business, brand and customer needs.
  • Comfortable speaking to both technical and non-technical teams.
  • Confidence to make clear and well-thought recommendations to influence decisions.
  • Outstanding communication, interpersonal and organisation skills.
  • Use a logical, evidence-based approach to planning and decision making.
