This is where you will land each time you enter the Immersive Labs platform. You will see a summary of the number of labs you have completed and the points you have gained. Further down the page you can easily navigate to your recent labs and your objectives.
The navigation bar along the top of your screen will enable you to view the relevant areas of the platform necessary to complete this section of your application. The two sections most relevant to you are the Labs page and the Objectives page.
The Labs Page
The labs page is where you can find all the labs content available on our platform.
To complete your CyberFirst application you only need to focus on the 11 objectives that have been assigned to you – these will be visible within the objectives section. You are welcome to explore the labs page, but this will not benefit your application.
The Objectives page
The objectives page is where you will complete this part of your application. You will see that you have been assigned 11 objectives based on 11 specialisms within cybersecurity.
- Risk Assessment and Management
- Threat Intelligence
- System Security Management
- Security Testing and Vulnerability Assessment
- Security Monitoring
- Security Architecture
- Secure Development
- Investigation and Forensics
- Incident Management
- Governance / Audit / Policy / Compliance
We want you to enjoy this experience and would like you to complete labs within the objectives based on your ability and areas of interest/knowledge. Don't worry, you don't have to complete all the labs within all the objectives. We will be assessing this part of your application based on the difficulty of the labs you complete, and the breadth of objectives (specialisms) covered.
If you are new to cyber, you may prefer to slowly increase the difficulty of labs you complete, or you may feel confident enough to jump straight to the most difficult labs in an objective. The choice is yours.
However, it is important that you complete the most difficult labs you can manage, covering as many objectives as possible. Only your five best labs will be used in the scoring.
Try to complete the most difficult labs you can from across five different objectives. Your five best labs will be used in scoring and we will be rewarding the breadth as well as the difficulty levels.
Please note that the results of these labs will only form part of the selection criteria to invite candidates to interview.
Use the Help section for more information on lab difficulties, navigation and FAQs. You can also submit feedback and support forms using this section.
If you experience any technical difficulties, our Support team are on hand to answer queries and concerns. The Support helpdesk (email: firstname.lastname@example.org) is open between 9am and 5.30pm on weekdays.
