Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher

Ben currently works as a Cyber Threat Intelligence Researcher at Immersive, helping customers build their knowledge and resilience to tackle the latest threats, vulnerabilities, and threat actors.

Prior to Immersive, Ben spent 6 years as a Police Officer. He started on response where he responding to 999 calls for service, such as thefts and burglaries in progress, assaults, road traffic incidents, and domestic related incidents. He then spent time working in intelligence-led policing, tackling organised criminality, modern slavery, and county lines.

Ben regularly does research and investigates cybercriminals and the tooling they use, information he shares with the cyber community through malware reports and blogs, and talks to internal stakeholders and the Human Connection Community.
