Ben Shreeve
Ben’s expertise sits at a rare intersection: rigorous academic research on decision-making under pressure, combined with years of hands-on crisis management work. They hold a PhD in organizational decision-making under uncertainty and spent years conducting postdoctoral research at Lancaster University and the University of Bristol, focusing specifically on how security teams make decisions during cybersecurity incidents - work that shaped practice across the NCSC, Metropolitan Police Service, and City of London Police.
‍
This research wasn’t theoretical. They designed and delivered the exercises and frameworks now used across UK security services, and published significant journal papers that advanced how the field understands incident modeling and response. That foundation of evidence-based practice informed everything that followed.
‍
For the last few years, they’ve worked as a crisis simulation specialist at Immersive, translating that research into real-world impact. They’ve designed and delivered exercises for our largest customers - from focused SOC-level simulations to complex, multi-organizational supply chain scenarios - helping their executives and boards experience decision-making under realistic pressure.Â
‍
Now, as they lead Container 7’s simulation content and help shape the wider product, they’re bringing that same rigor to scale: turning years of evidence and hands-on expertise into tools that make organizations more resilient when it matters most.
