Kev Marriott is the Senior Manager of Cyber at Immersive, where he helps organizations assess, build, and prove their Cyber Workforce Resilience. He leads a team of technical experts responsible for creating content across multiple disciplines and manages the organization's day-to-day internal security capability. 

Before joining Immersive, Kev spent multiple years being a key part of and leading the Incident / Problem and Security change management team at an Enterprise Telco that operates in numerous countries worldwide. He coordinated the response to Cyber and physical security incidents and crises internally and for commercial Enterprise customers. This included having responsibility for and having ownership of the end-to-end process for the management of Security incidents, identifying and sharing risks observed through incidents with senior stakeholders to ensure constant pivoting of the defensive posture of the organisation, including the mapping of threats observed to the MITRE ATT&CK framework. In addition to ensuring regulatory, media, customer and internal communications were in place and forensic artifacts were extracted in line with the correct processes to adhere to principles such as ‘chain of custody’.

Kev also spent time on behalf of the organization sharing best practices with other enterprise-scale organisations and liaising with law enforcement, governmental, and regulatory departments.

Since joining Immersive, Kev has also supported organizations in identifying ways to assess their existing security incident response capabilities (including concerning PCI DSS compliance and audit preparedness) and is passionate about the value of cybersecurity preparedness.
