Luke Hulson-Brown

Luke built his security foundation over five years serving in the British armed forces in intelligence and cyber roles, gaining hands-on experience in operational analysis, cyber threat intelligence, and incident response in high-pressure, high-risk environments. Working alongside international defense partners, he developed and refined security practices across complex operational contexts, mitigating known risks and building shared defensive capabilities.

This military foundation informed his transition into professional incident response. He spent three years in retail security, where he managed the full lifecycle of incident response across global corporate networks - detection, analysis, containment, and eradication against both external threats and internal risks. He gained proficiency across multiple SIEM and SOAR platforms, using them not just as tools but as vehicles for threat hunting and continuous process improvement.

Alongside this practical security work, he’s completed his BSc in Cyber Security and Intelligence and is pursuing an MSc in Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence - combining academic rigor with the operational experience that makes theoretical knowledge stick.
