Michael brings eight years of UK Civil Service experience spanning software engineering, DevOps, cloud, and security. Working in complex, high-stakes environments taught him how to design, build, and operate secure systems - expertise he’s now applying at Immersive to create something more valuable than theory: practical, hands-on security content that lets customers work with real-world tooling.

At Immersive, Michael designed and built Azure and GCP capabilities and orchestrated the integration of multiple security vendor technologies into the platform. His work spans engineering, security research, and automation - each reinforcing the others. As Principal Cyber Security Engineer, he now focuses on shaping new capabilities across cloud, AI, and emerging security technologies, ensuring the platform stays ahead of the evolving threat landscape.
