Ryan Goldblatt

Ryan brings over a decade of enterprise software experience from IBM, where he progressed from engineering on their Tivoli Networking product to working on QRadar SIEM - one of the industry’s most demanding platforms. His tenure spanned software engineering, L3 support, and product professional services, giving him rare insight into how security tools actually perform under pressure. He built a popular IOC search application for high-profile banking customers, expanded QRadar’s ecosystem through the AppExchange, and led the technical migration of core platform libraries to cloud-native architecture on Kubernetes and Red Hat OpenShift. Throughout this period, he championed security-by-design principles, applying emerging technologies like Istio to embed resilience from the ground up.

He then pivoted into Security Engineering at a leading cryptocurrency exchange in Asia, where he spent 3.5 years navigating the dual pressures of rapid innovation and security risk. Working across IAM, application auditing, and cloud infrastructure security, he gained hands-on experience in emerging threat environments - and helped champion configuration-as-code practices to operationalize security at scale.

That combination of enterprise depth and frontier experience now shapes his work at Immersive. He creates cyber content that bridges classical infrastructure and the cutting edge, with a focus on cloud and AI technologies. His recent releases include the AI Supply Chain collections, translating years of hard-won expertise into practical learning.
